Many people familiar with the old Hazel Green Academy campus have fond memories of Pearre Hall. This was the oldest building on the campus and served as classrooms from it's dedication in 1901 until when in 1930 it was remodeled as the Girls' Dormitory. It remained the Girls' Dorm until HGA closed it's door in 1983. Many mission teams have fond memories of their time in Pearre Hall as the served on mission trips in the following years. Unfortunately in January 2008 the roof suffered catastrophic damage during a spring storm. Due to the extent of the damage and the cost of trying to repair the building we are unable to save this building and must begin the sad task of demolition in the winter of 2008 / 2009.
We will do our best to keep everyone updated on the progress of this sad work as we move along.
