The Jot Em Down clothing ministry has been open since the early 1930's. People come in to get quality used clothing. Donations of clothing and household objects are donated from throughout the country. All donations are tax deductible. Abiding in the Vine Food Pantry has been open since 2006. We distribute grocery bags to approximately 600 people each month.
This ministry helps kids get nourishment in an economically depressed area. Teams help out families who have difficulty maintaining their homes. Home construction projects range from scraping and painting, to rebuilding entire structures. Teams also work on making Church buildings better for the small congregations. All of these teams have the great opportunity to witness daily to the families they are serving. Teams coming to the Appalachian region are involved in a wide variety of ministries to attempt to spread the Gospel throughout the region. Projects range from VBS to sports camps to nursing home outreach projects. We try to find unique ways to witness to our neighbors.
